Susan Shipp Keith passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023. She was 89 years old and the beloved wife of Roy Keith, Sr. for over 72 years. She is also survived by her five devoted children, Dr. Lon Keith (Angela), Roy Keith, Jr. (Linda), Mary (Dick Bell), Sue (Greg Jenkins) and Beth (Ernest Pardue). Each thinks she was the very best mom. Her large and loving family also includes fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her accolades, too numerous to mention here, are well-known in her community, especially her faithful service to her church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and continue from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Severns Valley Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Severns Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Emory Riley officiating.
