Condolences - Kenneth Lee Barnard
We present our sincere condolences for the loss of a husband, a father, a brother. To Ellen and I, he will always be Mr. Barnard. We were blessed to be students in the classroom; learning history - an amazing teacher and counselor! Our prayers are with the family. Please know there are many former students for which Mr. Barnard played a significant role not only in our education but the very adults we are today.
As a first year teacher at Elizabethtown High School in 1989, Kenny was one of the first people to welcome me and help me with the ins and outs of working at Etown. Even though he was very busy as a counselor, along with teaching a couple world history classes, he always had time to answer any questions I had and served as a great mentor to me.
