Just heard and I cannot believe it. Bruce was such a funny, caring, and genuinely great person to be around. Just texted with him a month or so back and he was just as bright and cheerful as ever. I have such great memories of him and Pam sharing stories over at Wanda's house when I was young. I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have seen him more recently, but life/work just hasn't given me a chance to visit Etown since we last had lunch. Sending love and thoughts to Robyn and all of the family. I won't be able to get to the funeral because I didn't find out in time, but I absolutely promise to visit you all once I do come back to town. Love you all very much. I
My heart aches for Robyn and the family💔 Bruce was one of a kind!! He was my dearest friend !! I loved him so. Our talks about anything always made me feel better or just laugh. I know there is such a void left in that home but I know God will comfort Robyn and the family. Let’s just keep looking up it won’t be long til we all see him again. Bruce was an incredible educator & mentor. He truly loved children and made them feel special. He was a blessing to me (and Cecilia Valley Elementary) in 2019. God bless Bruce and his family.
I will always remember Bruce's smile and his great singing voice! I'm grateful I got to know Bruce and Robyn the last few years at Southeast. Our family will be praying for yours.
