Condolences - Alan "Burt" Cooke

Dear Friends, what a joy to know your dad & mom, Jean. Our families share so many wonderful memories, going all the way back to my dad, Henry Lewis, being Burt’s scout master, to the work they all did in building FCC on Mulberry & preparing Sunday school rooms & worshiping together. Your dad poured his life into White Mills Christian Camp & FCC (as did your mom). I’ve known very few truly honorable men - Burt was one of them. You will be in my prayers. Sending much love and many hugs.

Louis and I are so very sorry in the passing of Mr. Cooke. This is a bittersweet for all of you we know. Mr. Cooke was such a nice man. Your obituary was so complimentary of him and his life. We will keep your family in our prayers at this time. May he rest in the arms of Jesus and the Lord hold all of you close.

Mark It saddens me to hear of the passing of your Dad. I’ve thought of him often and of the many things he taught me throughout the years we spent in Industrial Arts shop. The last time I saw him was about 2008, your Mom had to help translate because of his hearing. Your Dad was one the true class Gentlemen. Chris Mayhew
