Roger Bernard Shartzer II

Roger Bernard Shartzer II, 56 of Big Clifty passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Jewish Hospital. He was a native of Hardin County and was an electrical engineer at Blue Oval Auto Battery Plant. Roger was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council 1455. He loved horseback riding and kayaking. Survivors include his parents, Roger Shartzer of Hardinsburg and Martha Ruedeen Kullman of Bowling Green; one son, Daniel Wyatt Shartzer of Rineyville; two daughters, Jessica Elisabeth (Seth) Dunn of Radcliff and Leah Marie (Matt Evans) Shartzer of Vine Grove; two brothers, Richard Brian (Karen) Shartzer of Temecula, CA and Russell Bradley Shartzer of Louisville; two grandchildren, Rowan Elisabeth and Lane Michael Dunn. The funeral is Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
