Bobby L. Goodman, 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2024. Bobby was born on July 18, 1952. He played basketball for West Hardin and ECC. He loved to fish; hunt; watch Cincinnati Reds baseball, Cincinnati Bengals football, and Kentucky basketball; and to be with his family (especially his grandchildren). He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly McMillen Goodman, his father, Grover Goodman and a brother, Lendall Goodman. Survivors include his daughter, Traci (Mike) Gillock; his son, Jarrod Goodman; his three beloved grandchildren, Jackson Gillock, Gracie Goodman and Brianna Meredith; his mother, Suvadas Goodman; his brothers, Adrian Goodman and Anthony (Regina) Goodman; his sisters, Shura McKinney, Valedia (Gary) Beauchamp, and Marti (Tim) Shrewsbury; as well as treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cremation was chosen and his ashes will be spread with Beverly's a special place between the Beech trees in Daffodil Meadows. A Memorial Service will be Friday at 4 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
