Lou Ellen Squires, 98 of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Green Meadow Health Care Facility. She was a native of Russell County, KY, married her late husband, Stanley Squires in Greensburg on January 23, 1945 and was a member of Jesus Name Church in Campbellsville since 1950.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Squires and two sons, David Squires and Jerry Squires. Survivors include her three sons, Jimmy (Vickie) Squires, Randall Squires and Larry Squires; a daughter-in-law, Diane Squires; six grandchildren, Laura, Tonya, Daniel, Jerry Wayne, Shrevia and Amber; 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12 noon at Jesus Name Church at 80 Tabernacle Road, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in Jesus Name Church Cemetery in Campbellsville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and continue Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Jesus Name Church. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
