Paul H. (Butch) Burckley 77 of Elizabethtown passed away March 28, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital. He was a native of Jefferson County and retired after 32 years with GE. He loved spending time with his family, watching the Kentucky Wildcats and working out with his Etown Swim and Fitness friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Burckley and Laverne Burckley, and his son Gregory Burckley. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy, his son, Rob (daughter in law, Shannon), his sister, Sharon (brother-in- law, Wayne) and nieces and nephews of Louisville, his 4 grandchildren Ashley Swift of Virginia and Parker, Izzy and Allie Burckley of Elizabethtown, and his 2 great grandchildren, Evelyn and Brently Swift of Virginia. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Routt officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
