Helen Inez Hart Williams

Helen Inez Hart Williams, 88 of Rineyville, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Phenix City, AL and a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church. She was a woman of faith who adored the Lord and her family. She was proud of her 5 daughters and all her grandchildren that affectionately called her Mamaw. Helen was an incredible cook and seamstress. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Williams; her parents, Sherman and Inez Lanier Hart; three brothers, Aubie, Sherman and Johnny Hart and two sisters, Delores Mosley and Laura Clemmons. Survivors include five daughters, Sharon Wood (Bill), Julia Freed (Chuck), Elaine Maulden (Dickie), Donna Bickett (Gale) and Bonnie Grigsby (Tim); grandchildren, Billy Wood, Christy Johnson, Shannon Cranmer, Andy Centers, Mindy Helm, Michelle Estes, Stacie Cranmer, Amy White, Joshua Freed and David Greenwell, Jr.; 21 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus.
