Edna Mae Daugherty Krahn, born April 26, 1929 passed away on March 22, 2024 at Breckenridge Memorial Hospital. She loved reading, crocheting, sewing, and working puzzle books. She enjoyed volunteering at the Good Samaritan Center and being with her family. Edna was also a member of Blue Ball Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Krahn; her parents, Simon and Iva Daugherty; a daughter, Edna Roberta Woodring Russell; her brothers, Samuel Daugherty, Carroll Ray Daughtery, and Charles Daugherty; her sisters, Elmina Chipps and Linda Daugherty (Katherine Cooper) and granddaughter, Sarah Catherine Dutton. Edna is survived by her children, Susan Woodring Dayberry (Jim); Vivian Woodring Ford (Franklin), and David Woodring (Judy); a son-in-law, Freddie Russell; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Vera McNutt and Evelyn Palmer. The funeral is 11 AM Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Ricky Daugherty officiating. Burial follows in Blue Ball Baptist Cemetery.
