Dennis Wayne Adams, 62 of Louisville, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born in Carrollton, KY to the late Samuel Earl and Ethel Juanita Adams, and worked at the Galt House Hotel for 26 years. Dennis enjoyed serving and taking care of people. He and his wife loved to stay home with their four cats. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Dana Lloyd; one sister, Judy Tomlinson Davenport (Bill) of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Roy Tomlinson of Bedford and David Adams of Owingsville and his niece and nephews, Chris, Jerry and Jason Adams, Mike and Matt Bean and Melanie Adams Ginn. A Memorial service will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Faith Apostolic Church, 408 Nicholas Street, Elizabethtown, with Pastor Duray Aldridge officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ally Cat Advocates, 3524 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
