Terry Windfield Martin, 59 of Cecilia, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin. He retired from Metalsa after 27 years. Terry was always the happiest when he was outside, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved animals and his favorite holiday was Halloween. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricke Basham and Danny Joe Peters; his stepmother, Ruby Martin; and a granddaughter, Koda Everleigh Dean. He was the grandson of the late Bill and Lena Martin. Terry is survived by one daughter, Jessica (Cody) Dean of Frankfort; his parents, Walter Windfield Martin of Cecilia and Eva Mae (Donnie) Basham of Irvington; two brothers, Scotty (Sarah Elick) Peters of Jeffersontown and Paul (Melinda) Basham of Brandenburg; his nephews Colten and Cannon; and other nieces and nephews. The funeral is 2 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Doug Peters officiating. Burial follows in Big Springs Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 6 P.M.
