Lois Jean Daugherty, 89 of Stephensburg, KY, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Louisville, KY. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Harold Daugherty. She is survived by her daughters, Patty Bryan (Joe) of Elizabethtown and Natalie Daugherty Read of Prospect, KY; grandchildren, Gabrielle Read Jasnoff (Matt), Jordan Read (Alyssa), Amy Coats (Shawn); and six great- grandchildren. Lois lived her life full of love for her family, caring for each new generation as if they were her own children. She will always be remembered for sharing her caring spirit with anyone she met throughout her neighborhood and community. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
