Imelda Alcala Rosales, 64 of Vine Grove, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at her home. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She spent a lot of time cooking, dancing, and riding horses. Imelda was always dressed in her best no matter where she went and she always had a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her parents, Genero and Aurora Alcala Rosales. Imelda is survived by three sons, Gerardo Garcia Alcala, Isidro Garcia Alcala, and Sergio Cecilio Garcia Alcala; five daughters, Adela Garcia Alcala, Rosalinda Garcia Alcala, Araile Cambron Alcala, Neredia Cambron Alcala, and Jasmine Reynoso Alcala; thirteen siblings; grandchildren, Juan Daniel, Jessica, and Humberto Jr, Gerardo, Miguel, Kevin, and Fernando, Bella Luvia, Ana, Citlali, Genaro, and Ethan, Maria Imelda and Diana Guadalupe, Evelyn Adrianna, Imelda Maylin, Francisco Areliano, and Fabrizio Archibaldo, and Dario Gerardo, Lindsey Silence, Danilo Cristian, and Jaseli Guadalupe and Malia; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral is 11 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home and continues after 9 A.M. Monday. The family asks that everyone wear red in honor of Imelda.
