Vernon Boyd Clark, 58 of Radcliff, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a project manager for Strategic Communications. His work family called him "Stern Vern" because he was such a dedicated, loyal, and hardworker. Vernon loved to bass fish with his brother and often, they played in tournaments together. He enjoyed golfing and watching his cooking shows. He made the best mashed potatoes. His favorite color was blue and loved his dog, Kuma. Vernon was the most respected man wherever he went and had the answer to any problem. He truly loved his family and work family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Leona Grundy Clark and one sister, Stephanie Clark. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Margie Powers Clark of Radcliff; two children, Myles Alexander Clark and Alyssa Clark, both of Radcliff; two step-children, William Hardwick of Pahrump, NV and Michelle Hardwick of Santa Rosa, CA; one brother, Lewis Clark of NV; three sisters, Joann Tognoni of NV, Norma Clark Wilson of CA, and Dora Clark of WA; two grandchildren, Ronnie and Quintin Parodi of MO; and four great-grandchildren.
