Nannie Magdaline "Maggie" Dailey, age 88, passed away January 10, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on December 20, 1935. She was the fourth child of Stanley William Dailey and Rosie Waddell Dailey. She graduated from Glendale High School on May 20, 1953. She began her career with Bean Publishing Company (now Kerr Office Group) on April 23, 1956. She retired after 50 years of service to the company, but then returned to work part-time until the spring of 2020. She was a member of Bethesda Ministry Church of God of Prophecy. She had been a member of the Church of God of Prophecy since she was a child. She was a faithful member for many years and voluntarily served the church in many positions, including church secretary, piano player, and Sunday school teacher. Although she had no children of her own, she was a mother and grandmother to many of her family and friends. She served as a role model and inspiration for everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and six sisters. She is survived by one brother and three sisters: Reedie (Anna) Dailey of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Doris (Bob) Stone of New Albany, Indiana; Betty (Randall) Wallace of Crossville, Alabama; Linda Elsler of Glendale, Kentucky; and Carolyn (Rick) McClure, Glendale, Kentucky. Visitation is from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday, January 15, 2024 at Bethesda Ministry Church of God of Prophecy and continues after 10 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service. The funeral is 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Bethesda Ministry Church of God of Prophecy. Burial follows at New Horizon Baptist Fellowship Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
