Roy "Woody" Elwood Nall, 76 of Cecilia, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a longtime member of Cecilia Baptist Church and served in Vietnam. Woody worked for the Fort Knox Fire Department and was the cofounder of KY 86 Fire Dept. He was a KY Colonel and received many awards. He also worked for Napa and Lewis Equipment Company. In his younger years, he attended Howevalley Elementary and West Hardin High 54School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faurest and Pauline Nall; and a brother, Dennis Nall. Survivors include his wife, Betty D. Nall; one son, Jeffrey Owen Nall; one daughter, Teresa (Darrell) Lockhart; two sisters-in-law, Mari Nall and Dorothy Wilson; one grandson, Dalton (Corrina) Nall; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral is Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 3:30 to 7 p.m. and continue after 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at brownfuneral.com.
