Mariele Schweiger McLain, 51 of Elizabethtown, passed away on December 22nd, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin. She was a native of Ansbach, Germany, dedicated Army spouse who serviced alongside her husband, and was awarded several honors for supporting military member and their families throughout their 20 years of service. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite meal to prepare always included her famous potato salad. She was a high-spirited woman that loved life. Survivors include her husband, Harry McLain; one son, Scott Schweiger; three daughters, Samantha McLain, Doris McLain and Steffanie McLain and two grandsons, Stephen and Destin. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
