George Parker Duvall, Sr. 85 of Elizabethtown, passed away at his residence. He was a native of Howevalley and served in the U.S. Air Force where he was a decorated flyer. George was a member of Living Faith Baptist Fellowship and Stephensburg Masonic Lodge #212, Scottish Rites and Shriner for 50 + years. He was the owner of Duvall Appliance Parts Inc. for 47 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Mae Wise Duvall and his parents, Roy and Effie Givan Duvall. Survivors include two children, George Parker (Melody) Parker, Jr. of Elizabethtown and Pamela Duvall Lisi of Scituate, MA; one sister, Margaret (Joseph) Flowers of Mt. Washington; two brothers, Kenneth (Sally) Duvall of Alexandrea, VA and John (JoAnn) Duvall of Show Low, AZ; six grandchildren, Jarred (Amanda) Duvall, Annika Lisi, Ayden Lisi, Braden Bruner, Landen Duvall and MaeLeigh Duvall and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Anna Duvall. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Howevalley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
