Edward David "Eddie" Gravell, 87 of Glendale, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. He was a native of Providence, Rhode Island, and a Korean War Veteran serving with the 2nd Infantry Division as an Engineer with the Army. He retired from Civil Service in 1986 after 33 years where he was Chief Fire Inspector with the Fort Knox Fire Department. He and his wife Rose Mary were the owners of Misty Morning Landscaping in Elizabethtown since 1985. Eddie was an avid horse lover of which he trained and showed Hackney Ponies for 25 years. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward William Gravell and Mona Seavey Gravell and two sisters, Marie Rathbun and Glendine Fields. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Rose Mary Gravell; two children, Jeffrey (Stephanie) of Orlando, FL and Regina (David) of Aspermont, TX; one grandson, Seth and two nephews, David and Ernie Rathbun.
