Travis Wayne Gore, 39 of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Hardin County, a 2002 graduate of Central Hardin High School, and a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church. Travis was the owner and operator of Lawn Envy and was a realtor at Remax Premier Properties - Jay T. Pitts and Associates. He loved UK football, basketball, and wrestling. Most of all, he loved his family and coaching their sports teams. Travis always wanted people to laugh. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, James and Geneva Pellman, and Leola Graham. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Vanessa Waldridge Gore; two sons, Weston Lane Gore and Waylon Nash Gore; his parents, Jacky and Karen Gore of Elizabethtown; one sister, Emily (Gary) McColpin; in-laws, Allen and Betty Waldridge of Munfordville; a brother-in-law, John (Meghan) Probst; nephews and nieces, Connor McColpin, John Probst, Jr., Madison and Kay Kay; dogs, Trump and Simon "Papaw"; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The funeral will be Saturday, November 25, at 11 a.m. at Valley Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday all at Valley Creek Baptist Church. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
