Gary Lee Foster Resident of Livingston, Texas November 18, 1945 October 25, 2023 Gary Lee Foster died in Lufkin, Texas after a battle with cancer. His piano playing touched so many and will be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Foster and parents, Jesse Foster and Hazel (Mogg) Foster. Gary was born in Flint, Michigan and grew up with his parents before joining the Army and later Navy. He continued his service to the army as a Civil Service Pharmacist until retirement. He was a proud member of the Masons and Eastern Star both in Kentucky and Texas. He was a valued member of the American Legion and enjoyed square dancing before his death. He was an avid bowler and will be missed by all. Gary is survived by his son, Nathan Foster and his wife and daughter, Danielle and Jessica Foster of Taylorsville, Kentucky; daughter, Jennifer Foster and her children Danielle and Christian Foster of Radcliff Kentucky; along with 2 great grandchildren Mckinley Buchanan and Ryder Reynolds; his spouse, Julie Nolan of Livingston, Texas; her son George Swanson and his wife and daughter, Lisa, Ashley Swanson of Kountze, Texas and Dana Oliver of The Woodlands, Texas; Julies daughter Melissa McHugh and husband John of Texas, along with their children Sarah McHugh, Garrett McHugh and wife Jordan of Kentucky; with their children Audry, Emma, Spencer and Nolan McHugh; Gavin McHugh of Rusk, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky Interment will follow the funeral service at Stovall Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky.
