Elmer Leon Hornback, 76 of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County and a construction worker. Leon was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Martin Hornback; his parents, Elmer and Ruth Hornback; a brother, Howard Hornback; his nephew, Stephen Hornback and his brother-in-law, Jim Gabbard. Survivors include two sisters, Katherine Gabbard of Elizabethtown and Connie (Paul) Curtsinger of Glendale; two sisters-in-law, Pat Cowherd and Sheila (John) Cole; four nieces and four nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. David Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
