Charles Adrian Gray, 80 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County, served in the U.S. Army and retired from Ambrake. He was an outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing and feeding the birds and fish. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and taking them for rides on his 4wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland F. and Alberta Mitchell Gray; his companion, Ruby McKenzie; and a sister, Linda Faye Page. Survivors include his daughter, Kristie Denise Kelly (Danny) of Lexington; three brothers, Terry Lee Gray (Vickie) and Albert Walter Gray all of Columbia and Kenneth Neil Gray (Sandra) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Mason Statom and Ella Statom; his companion's kids, Sherrie Bowman (Doug) and Debbie Graham and Zorrana Dicesare (Jeremy); 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. David Dick officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
