Ronald Dale Morris, 75 of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County and was a former deacon at Cecilia Baptist Church. His love in life was family and farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Lee and Anna Devore Morris. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce Romans Morris of Elizabethtown; one son, Allen Morris of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Amy (Todd) Sills of Lexington; one sister, Teresa (Tod) Walters of Elizabethtown; and four grandchildren, William Wallace Anderson III, Julia Marie Morris, Landon Morris Sills, and Luke Alexander Sills. The funeral is Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Cecilia Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Davis officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Monday all at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cecilia Baptist Church.
