Nolta Leland Maffet, 76 of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at U of L Hospital. He was a native of Elizabethtown and drove for Skaggs Limousine. He volunteered for 27 years at the Youth Theater of Hardin County and the PAC. Nolta enjoyed camping, travelling, and music. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Darlene Maffet; his parents; one daughter, Miranda Hope Maffet; and two half-brothers, Donnie Mahoney and Ronnie Cottrell. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Dale; one daughter, Heather Renee (John) Krauser; five step-children, Aaron, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, and Jordan; 16 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. The funeral is Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial follows in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continues after 12 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
