Clifton Gross Schroader, 93 of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Kensington Center. He was a native of Hardin County and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. He loved his birds, was a big jokester with a gentle soul who loved to pull pranks on his family. Clifton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Mae Thompson Schroader; his parents, Gross and Cliffie Schroader; and his brothers, two brothers, Hurley Dockery and Alvi Dockery. Survivors include his daughter, Karen Schroader Cowley; one granddaughter, Emily "Emma" (James) Morse and four great-grandchildren, Sadie, Eliza, Cheyenne and Jade. A graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens with Pastor Emory Riley officiating. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
