Thelma Louise Maddox, 88 of Radcliff, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Helmwood Healthcare. She was a native of Centertown, KY and dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter Donna who had Down syndrome. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Glenn Maddox; her daughter, Donna Maddox; her parents, Tracy and Dula Mae Ball Tichenor and her siblings, Dale, LaVaughn "Bud", Belinda Gail and Wendell Tishenor. Survivors include her son, Jim (Nancy) Maddox of Radcliff; one sister, Reba Carter of Centertown; three grandchildren, Tracy Crawford, Joseph (Natasha) Maddox and Rebecca (Phil) Newton and six great grandchildren, Jarrod, Justin, Jacen, Dustin, Bobby and Logan. Graveside services will be held at North Hardin Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Down Syndrome Association or Special Olympics.
