Betty Green Lucas, 67 of Cecilia, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Jewish Hospital. She was a native of Louisville and was a member of Vertrees Baptist Church. She loved painting, was always the life of the party, and enjoyed taking the kids to do activities. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Green Sr. and Maefeen Hash. Survivors include her husband, Kevin Lucas of Cecilia; one son, Adam (Brittany) Lucas of Cecilia; four brothers, Bobby (Debbie) Green, Alex Green, Tony (Sandra) Green, and Pat Green; and four grandchildren, Holden, Jayden, Timothy, and Bentley. The funeral is Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Danny Haynes officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
