Harold Dean Woosley, 77, passed away peacefully at his home in Elizabethtown, KY on June 7, 2023. Born in Grayson County (Caneyville, KY), he is preceded in death by father, Jewell Woosley and mother, Marie Nash Woosley. He is also preceded in death by devoted wife, Constance Dever Woosley and sister, Margaline (Roger) Newton. Surviving siblings include Jewellene (Lowell) Bratcher, James (Sylvia) Woosley, Charles (Donna) Woosley, Larry (Becky) Woosley, and Gary (Karen) Woosley. Surviving biological children include Cheryl Woosley-Sutherland-Draggoo and Marcus Woosley; two granddaughters, Courtney Germanio and Jaden Draggoo; and three great-grandsons, Talon Germanio, Seth Germanio, and James Germanio. He also has surviving stepchildren, Wendall (Ashley) Nall and Carmen (Joshua) Stine. Harold is a decorated U.S Army Special Forces Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion Post 113, and a graduate of Caneyville High School. He also is a Ford Motor Company retiree with 34 years service. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Layman Memorial Gardens in Grayson County on June 25, 2023 at 3:00 EST.
