Paul David Ditslear, 63 of Vine Grove, died Monday, April 17, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Evanston, IL, retired from the U.S. Army after 19 years and he was a Treasury Guard at the Gold Vault. While in the Army he was in the K9 unit, worked 18 years for the TSA.Paul loved German Shepherds and his horses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Ditslear and Lucy Lamott; his step father, Bob Lamott; one brother, Jim Ditslear and a sister, Diane Crowell. Survivors include his wife, Anne Borel Ditslear; two sons, Robert Ditslear (Victoria) and Paul David McRae (Melissa); one daughter, Thereasa Gravley (Vic); two sisters, Nancy Smith (Ned) and Jane Platt; 6 grandchildren and one on the way.
