Clifford Earl Horn, 83, passed away on April 3, 2023 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born in Howevalley on November 5, 1939 and was a native of Hardin County. Clifford worked for GTE for 37 years, retiring in 1994 as a supervising engineer. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved being in the outdoors. Clifford was on the board of directors of Hardin County Sportsman Lake from 1986 until present. He also spent many years as a volunteer for United Way. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Clopton Horn; a son, Clifford Horn, Jr.; and his parents, Alton F. and Beulah Magnolia Horn. Survivors include his daughter, Stacy Horn of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters, Freeda Horn, Wilma Horn and Brenda Turner; one granddaughter, Michelle Horn Hauck of Louisville; and three great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be Friday from 11-12:30pm at Brown Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
