Mary Annette “Netsy” Carroll, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and worked in the cafeteria for St. James School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Irene Carroll; two sisters, Betty Miller and Emaline Weese; and three brothers, Mike Carroll, Sam Carroll, and Tom Carroll. She is survived by one godson, Zeb (Mary) Weese and their children, Zeb Henry Weese and Samuel Enoch Weese; one brother, Fred (Barbara) Carroll; and many nieces and nephews. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Hardin County Animal Shelter. Cremation was chosen by the family.
