William Frances Gunning, 88 of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his home. He was a native of Hardin County, a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a businessman and Farmer. He was a good family man and enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Alice Ann Riney Gunning and his parents, Guy and Hazel Gunning. Survivors include his two sons, Larry Gunning and Jerry Gunning both of Hodgenville; one granddaughter, Cortney (Ian) Scott and one great-grandson, Owen Scott. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Clark officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
