Natalie Sue Thompson Schall

Natalie Sue Thompson Schall, 53, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 after a 2 1/2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Natalie graduated valedictorian from West Hardin High School in 1987. She went on to receive her M.A. in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. She later became a Buckeye and adored the lifelong friends she made while in Ohio. After moving back to her hometown, Natalie worked for seven years at Venminder, where she was cherished by her coworkers. She could often be seen cheering on her alma mater during basketball games or hosting gatherings for friends and family at her home. Natalie will be remembered as a devout Catholic and a woman strong in her faith. Her family would like to thank her many friends for their constant love, support, and prayers. She is survived by her husband of 27.5 years, Dr. Gregory Schall of Cecilia; two sons, Garrett Schall and Jack Schall; one daughter, Emma Schall; her parents, Bill and Jeanie Thompson; two brothers, Mark (Lisa) Thompson and Matt (Stephanie) Thompson; three sisters, Tonya (Bobby) Norris, Mary (Eric) Howard, and Julie Latham; her in-laws, William and Carol Schall; brothers-in-law, Ken (Cheryl) Schall and Chris (Sally) Schall; one sister-in-law, Susan (Gary) Morrison; and her nieces and nephews, Alex (Taylor), Olivia, Stephen, Jacob, Carly, Ally, Jude, Mackenzie, Molly, Macy, Reid, Jonathon and Caroline. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery.
