Robert,Bobby, Harrison Goodman, 86, and his wife, Judith, Judy, Carol Frederick, 78, both of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Bobby was a native of Hardin County, retired from the News Enterprise, and was a carpenter. He was a strong, loving father and grandfather. Judy was a native of Leitchfield, Connecticut and was the strong, loving matriarch of the family. Bobby and Judy were preceded in death by their son, Herbert Pete Frederick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mable Harper Goodman; a daughter, Julianne Goodman; and three brothers, Clifford Goodman, Jackie Goodman, and Charles Elmer. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beatrice Carey Bunnell; three brothers, George Bunnell, Billy Phillips, and Charlie Phillips; and two sisters, Margaret Allen and Mildred Phillips. They are survived by five children, Barbara "Bobbie Ann" Milne, Judith Carol Taylor, Jo Ann Goodman, Melinda Goodman, and Gina (Brannon) Moore; 12 grandchildren, Jake Benton, Lynn (Travis) Reins, Bobbie Jo Butler, Ashley Michelle (Steven) Bean, Tiffany Combs, Kayla (Chris) Smallwood, Cierra Thomas, Travis Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Cody Frederick, Chloe Frederick, and Katrina Hager; and 17 great-grandchildren. Bobby was also survived by two brothers, Gary Cooper and Curtis Cooper; and five sisters, Ida VanHeck, Linda White, Rosie Nall, Juanita Goodman, and Barbara Circle. Judy was also survived by two sisters, Joyce Edlin and Barbara Sweats. Their funeral is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Mark Judd officiating. Judy will be buried at Elizabethtown City Cemetery and Bobby will be buried at Brown Cemetery following the service.
