Doris Cornett Blevins, 84 of Eastview passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Helmwood Health Care. She retired from L + N Railroad and Kroger Corporate office, and was a graduate of Valley High School. She was also a member of Blue Ball Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Cornett and Nannie Berry Cornett; and two sisters, Norma Swatt and Mavis Garrett. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Tina) Baker, Judson Baker, and Diane (Mark) Booker; six grandchildren, Eric (Ellisha), Dustin, Ashley, Aaron, Alan, and Justin; and six great-grandchildren. The funeral is Monday, January 31st at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Brother Al Hardy and Glen Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ball Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and continues after 9 a.m. Monday. Donations can be made out to Blue Ball Baptist Church. Condolences may be expressed online at brownfuneral.com.
