Howard Goodman

Howard Goodman, 97 of Eastview, died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Eastsview and served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received a Bronze Star. He retired from Crucible and worked on watches. He was a Constable in District 7 for 40 years, a 70-year member of the Meeting Creek Masonic Lodge where he was Past Master and a member of the Kosair Shriners. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Goodman, his parents, George Stephen and Sudie Miller Goodman and siblings, Alberta, Christine, Lucille, Tula Mae and Lonard and grandsons, Nathan Goodman and Curtis Goodman. Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Mary Cundiff Goodman; five sons, Wendell Goodman of Wilder, Larry Goodman and Gary (Rita) Goodman all of Eastview, Doug Goodman of Radcliff and Joe Goodman of Hodgenville; one daughter, Marcella (Donny) Martin of Eastview and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Chapel Cemetery in Eastview. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
