John Christopher Wimp, 52, of Hodgenville, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence. He was a farmer and an avid UK fan. John never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth "Pedro" Wimp. He is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Van Horne of Cecilia; two brothers, Terry (Phyllis) Wimp of Cecilia and Rick Wimp of San Rafael, CA; a twin sister, Johanna Wimp Claywell of Hodgenville; his nieces and nephews, Kayla (Tyler) Larue, Phillip Wimp, and Jessica Wimp; and his great nephew and niece, Case and Kimber Larue. The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
