Jean Ann Pitcock

Jean Ann Hommrich Pitcock, 86 of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her home. She was the owner of Bill's Heating & Cooling and an active member of St. James Catholic Church, especially with the bereavement committee. She was a volunteer at HMH for decades, an avid UK fan, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother whom adored her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Billy Royce Pitcock; parents, Frances Anthony Hommrich and Huberta Margaret Metcalf Hommrich; a daughter, Karen Sue Harlow; siblings, Frank, Richard, Rev. Tom, Paul, Jerry and Jim Hommrich; Claire Frantz, and Anita Thomas; a granddaughter, JuLee Adams, and a great- grandson, Tayvin Wheeler. She is survived by her children, William Patrick (Nancy) Pitcock of Bradenton, FL; Dale Anthony (Becky) Pitcock of Plain City, OH; Katherine Ann Pitcock (Mark Hood) of Scottsville; Donna Marie (Nathan "Butch") Harbolt, Linda Gail (Brad) Reed, Judith Lee (Thomas) Tiede, all of Elizabethtown; Mary Diane Jones (James Washington) of Lexington; a son in-law, Doug Harlow of Glendale; siblings, Doris Hall, Lois White, and Steve Hommrich; and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren. The funeral is Tuesday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and continues after 9 Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hosparus of Central KY or The Bill Pitcock Memorial Scholarship Fund at ECTC.
