Robert Thomas Saylor, 92, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, Indiana. He was a native of Harlan, a devoted Christian member of Rineyville Baptist Church, a member of the Stephensburg Masonic Lodge #212, Order of Eastern Star Pirtle Chapter #449, and Gideon's International. He retired from Ford Motor Company. He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Rose Kelly; his parents, Garrett Saylor and Ruth Duff Nix and two brothers, Jackie Saylor and Henry Saylor. He is survived by a son, Robert Saylor of Ozark, Alabama; three daughters, Deborah (Bob) Sellers of Cecilia, Sandra (Ron) Moyer of Louisville, and Kathy (Eddie) Wheeler of Upton; a sister, Gloria Faye Lamb; 14 grandchildren; 39 great- grandchildren, and 6 great- great grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Jerry Shacklett officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
