James George "Jim" Langseth, 61, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, February 15, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and retired from Best Buy Corporate Office. He was an avid fan and collector of Batman memorabilia, loved reading, history, and computers. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Raymond Langseth; and brother, Chuck Langseth. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Langseth; mother, Mary Evelyn Baker Langseth of Louisville; son, Saith Langseth of Elizabethtown; daughter, Bambi Dawn Knapp (Mitch) of New Haven; step-son, Christopher Longoria (Krista Mitchell) of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Liz Wolford (Joe) of Versailles, Val Langseth of Louisville, and Maggie Peters (Kevin) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Nick Langseth, Ryan Langseth, Michael Hodges, Josh Knapp, and Kayley Knapp; and his beloved, special dog, Dixie. In honor of his wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
