Terry Eugene Burton, 55 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Hardin County and loved working with animals and loved people. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Eugene Burton and a brother, Eddie Lee Burton Sr.. He is survived by his son, Scott Christopher Lyons of Elizabethtown; his mother, Elizabeth Faye Burton of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Timothy Burton of Hodgenville, Darren (Betty) Burton, Branden Burton and James (Toni) Burton all of Elizabethtown; four sisters, Regina Burton of Hodgenville, Selena (Bill) Peak and Amanda Burton all of Elizabethtown and Tammy Burton of Bardstown and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm. Wednesday and continue after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Brown Funeral Home for the funeral expenses. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
