Frank Douglas Elkins, 70 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Green Bay, WI, served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and was the Human Resource Manager for Boeing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Overton and Jean Byrd Elkins. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan Peterson Elkins; two daughters, Shannon Elkins and Samantha Elkins both of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Benny Elkins (Valerie) of Port Orchard, WA and Steven Elkins (Kim) of Puyallup, WA; two sisters, Darica Cullen of Las Vegas, NV and Tara Elkins of Portland, OR and three grandchildren, Tate Douglas Elkins, Gage Dylan Elkins and Holden Jason Elkins. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DAV or VFW.
