William Enoch Wolfe, 84, of Elizabethtown, KY, residing in Sellersburg, IN, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Indiana. He was known to most as "Uncle Bill", but he was Pap Pap Willie to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved watching sports, especially baseball and basketball. He liked camping, traveling, tractors and wood working, but he loved his family and friends more than anything. He was very proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force, and after retirement he was employed at Gates Rubber Company in Elizabethown. He was a very long time and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Wolfe; his parents, Russell H. (Dutch) and Margaret Wolfe; four brothers, John, Dick, Donald and Tommy; five sister-in-laws, Virginia Wolfe, Jean Wolfe, Sara Wolfe, Patsy Wolfe, and Darlene Wolfe; one brother-in-law, Jim Williams; and two nephews, Tony Wolfe and Edd Ratliff. He is survived by his only child, Pat Yingling (Tom) of Jeffersonville, IN; one brother, Michael Wolfe (Jelondia) of North Vernon, IN; two sisters, Janet Ratliff (Darrell) of Circleville, OH, and Kitty Williams of Wilmington, NC; three grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor (John) of Sparks, GA, Victoria Sward (Kyle) of Lexington, KY, and Thomas Yingling (Rachel) of Moultrie, GA; eight great grandchildren, Garrett, Preston, Karley, William, Ethan, Benjamin, Emma, and Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Shepherdsville Road in Elizabethtown. A graveside service with military honors will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday with family time from 3-4 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and will continue at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
