Kenneth Lee Fowler

Kenneth Lee Fowler, 70 of Elizabethtown, KY, died at home Tuesday, April 24, 2018 after battling a long illness. He was a native of Canton, OH, and a member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church in Cecilia, KY. He was a member of the DAV and the American Legion Post #113. He retired from the US Air Force after serving 26 years. He was a Vietnam veteran. He also retired from Civil Service at Redstone Arsenal, AL. He liked to shop, fish, bowl, play bingo and square dance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Fred and Jean Eleanor Anthony Fowler; his brother, Donald A. Fowler and an aunt, Donna Marie (William Earl) Caine. He is survived by his wife, Donna S. Fowler; two children, Kenneth Matthew (Christina) Fowler of Flagstaff, AZ and Kristina Theresa (fiance Tim Knox) Fowler of Oceanside, CA; five grandchildren, Taelor Eyre, Kaleb Fowler-Smith, Berlynn Fowler, Sydney Fowler and Madilynn Knox; two step children, Pam (Jason) of Big Clifty and Jennifer (Robert) King of Elizabethtown; four step grandchildren, Alex King, Wilson King, Elijah Kraan and Isaac Kraan; the mother of Matt and Kristina, Theresa Marie Fowler of Hesperia, CA; a nephew, Shawn Fowler and his pet Halo.. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Oliver officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to the American Cancer Society.
