E. Frances "Fran" Browning Carr, 92 of White Mills, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, joined with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Sandford, Florida on February 10, 1925 and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She retired from Penn Central Railroad. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Carr, Sr.; a son, John A. Carr, Jr.; her parents, Howard and Lydia Browning; three sisters; one brother and a great grandchild, Jack Logan Carson. She is survived by daughters, Jo Ann (Roger) Fries and Patricia L. (Charles) Carson all of White Mills; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
