Michael Anthony "Muncie" Clark, 55, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of New Haven, a member of St. James Catholic Church, and retired from the trucking industry as a dispatcher. He was an avid drag racer for years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Jack" and Margaret Braden Clark; and three siblings, James Clark, John Fox Clark, and Theresa Flossie Kennedy. He is survived by his wife of 25 1/2 years, Melanie Karger Clark; one son, Jackie Clark of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Earl Clark, Tommy "Wonka" Clark, and Danny "Fly" Clark all of Bardstown, and George Clark of Nelsonville; four sisters, Mary Wilkerson of Campbellsville, Gladys Carter of Bardstown, Joann Morris and Kathy Keesy both of New Haven; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Linebach officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
