Dean James Florek, 66 of Radcliff, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was a native of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and retired from the U.S. Army, having served during Vietnam. He loved his grandchildlren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Florek and Abby Holiday. He is survived by one son, Eric (Emily) Florek of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother, Kevin Florek; five sisters, Margo Braun, Linda Jennie, Teresa Evjen, Annette Zipp and Sally Reimer and five grandchildren, Branden, Brianna, Gabrielle, Lincoln and Andrew. A Graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
