Charles L. Langley, 85, of Glendale, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at his home. He was a native of Larue County, served in the United States Marines during the Korean War, was a farmer, and a member of Cecilia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, L. Elizabeth Langley; his parents, Leslie William Langley, Sr. and Ellen Standard Langley; brother, Dr. Leslie W. Langley; and sister, Mary V. Kice. He is survived by two sons, Charles L. Langley Jr. (Sue Ellen) of Glendale and John W. Langley (Debra) of Cecilia; daughter, Lisa Ann Langley Keown (Tim) of Elizabethtown; two brothers, James R. Langley and Marion S. Langley both of Louisville; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Langley officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and continues after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
